
Keith Sartain is Chief Information Officer of SmartChoice Communications. He leads IT Strategy for SmartChoice’s IT and Service Delivery functions, with an emphasis on driving enhanced customer experience and expediting time-to-market. He brings 25 years of technology experience with exposure to FinTech, Telecommunications and Enterprise Automation.
Keith joined SmartChoice after serving as Senior Director of Global IT at ConnectWise for 7 years, leading the company through integrations of over a dozen companies, and modernization of operational practices around information security, Global scaling, and Cloud-first infrastructure. He led 8 technology functions including traditional IT roles such as Help Desk, Networking, Systems Engineering and Telecom, and shared services roles with QA, DevOps and Enterprise Automation.
Prior to ConnectWise, he served as Director of Platform and Midrange for Serve, an American Express Company, where he was responsible for the design and operation of the end-to-end card processing platform. In 2014, Keith won a Chairman’s Award for Innovation for driving process Automation and building an architecture for Zero downtime software deployments.
Keith is active in the community and a co-founder of DevOps Days Tampa Bay. He spends his free time now mostly delving into Artificial Intelligence and the application of practical Enterprise Automation.
