NRF 2019: Telecom Meets Retail at the ‘Big Show’

This winter, the Jacob Javits Center was the place to be for retailers as the National Retail Federation held their annual expo. Since every retailer needs a solid network of reliable voice solutions, data protection, and software for in-store/network security, SmartChoice was there to let expo-goers know all about how our customized solutions tend to each company’s own unique needs. Retail’s Big Show was held in New York City from January 13th to 15th and lived up to its name as over 40,000 attendees from the global retail community showed up.

Smart Choice is proud to work with hundreds of retailers, and we look forward to the NRF each year for the chance to greet tons of new company representatives. Our team prepped for months to make sure we were ready to showcase the consolidated services every store needs, including internet, phones, WIFI, credit card machines, people counters, and network monitoring. We were especially excited to get the word out on our new Smart Tile feature and its ability to provide a global company overview through enterprise-class network monitoring, alerting, and analysis, all on one screen using individual customized tiles.

Let’s face it– no expo is complete without goodies. SmartChoice brought along tons of “SWAG” that would keep even Dunder Mifflin managers happy and handed out thousands of SmartChoice tote bags filled with everything from SmartChoice pop sockets to beer koozies. Outside the Javits Center, temperatures dropped into the teens, but SmartChoice was fully prepared with the most popular item of all: SmartChoice texting gloves!
