As the Director of People Operations, Justine Garcia is responsible for the operational aspects of SCC, with a focus on the People/Human Resources function across talent management, payroll & benefits, total rewards, and training & development. Justine’s responsibilities include engineering hiring strategies, securing top talent, improving operational efficiencies, as well as scaling our operations by directing a best-in-class People experience.
Justine is a people-focused professional with 10+ years of diversified Human Resources experience. Prior to working at SCC, Justine worked as an HR Manager within the healthcare and staffing industries. Justine prides herself on her soft skills – specifically communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
Since joining in August 2020, Justine has played a key role in implementing an annual performance review process, coaching the management team, recruiting strategic hires to sustain growth, and scaling the business – by performing deep dives within each department.
