The Family Center’s Harvest Ball 2018

The Family Center’s mission is to strengthen families affected by crisis, illness or loss to create a healthier and more secure present and future for their children and all family members. Improving outcomes for vulnerable children and families is the focus of their work, keeping New Yorkers stronger, longer. In 2017, The Family Center served 2,050 families, including 4,345 individuals, over 95% of who receive Medicaid and have annual incomes below the federal poverty threshold. The clients and their families face a variety of chronic illnesses and emotional health challenges that reflect the health burden of the NYC communities they serve.
