Alpha House of Pinellas County, INC

The mission of ALPHA House of Pinellas County is to prevent the cycle of homelessness and child abuse by providing a safe residence and supportive services to homeless pregnant women and babies. ALPHA empowers women with the job skills, education, parenting skills, positive self-esteem and spiritual foundation necessary to obtain permanent housing, successfully raise their children, and contribute to the community as self-sustaining mothers.

CASA – Stand Up To Silence

CASA is the official 501c3 domestic violence center based in Pinellas County, FL. They operate the area’s 24-hour hotline and emergency shelter; non-residential programs, such as support groups, economic empowerment and legal advocacy; Child Protective Investigative Team support; community and corporate training; and the CASA Peacemakers anti-bullying and healthy relationship school curriculum.

JCC Rockland

JCC Rockland is dedicated to the enrichment and continuity of Jewish life and to the preservation and celebration of our rich heritage. The center shall strengthen individual awareness and connection to the Jewish community, the state of Israel, and the community at large through recreational, physical, educational, social, and cultural programs.

Create Hope Foundation

Create Hope helps children in need on a local level. They help the smaller organizations whose main focus is helping children in need. they also will help on an as need basis if they hear of a specific family dealing with a child or children who have a special need that the family cannot afford to provide.

SBH – Annual Action 2023

For over forty years, SBH has stood as a pillar of charity and volunteerism in the community. Although the organization itself has grown exponentially since its inception in May 1974, its core values of selflessness and responsibility have never wavered. For decades, SBH has been dedicated to caring of those less fortunate. It is the shoulder to cry on, the lifeline, the answer to your calls for help.

 AHRC NYC Foundation

AHRC NYC provides free aids and services to people with disabilities to communicate effectively with us and provides free language services to people whose primary language is not English, including qualified interpreters and information written in other languages.

Friends of Saint Dominic’s

Friends of Saint Dominic’s is an affiliated fundraising organization for Saint Dominic’s Family Services. Our mission is to solicit funds that promote and insure the continued growth, expansion, improvement, and development of the Agency that has been empowering people, preserving families, and inspiring hope since 1878.

Westfield Softball Club

The GSLW is a not-for-profit organization, the purpose of which is to provide the girls of Westfield with the opportunity to learn and to play fastpitch softball. As a general proposition, the GSLW’s programs are open to all girls (grades K-12) who live in Westfield or who go to school in Westfield. And, with some exceptions, the GSLW’s programs are organized and run entirely by volunteers from the Westfield community.

New Jersey Cares

As a leader in volunteerism in New Jersey, Jersey Cares increases the level of meaningful volunteer engagement by creating and managing efficient, impactful projects that address critical community-identified needs.

Turning Point NJ

Turning Point strives to help patients cope with drug and alcohol addictions, and also work to help them develop the necessary tools and coping mechanisms required to manage the difficulties and daily challenges of life. They provide care in a supportive treatment environment where they will benefit from structured routines and individual care plans.

Hudson Guild

Hudson Guild is a multi-service community agency serving those who live, work, or go to school in Chelsea and the west side, with a focus on those in need.

Polo Training Foundation

The Polo Training Foundation is dedicated to support Polo in collegiate or scholastic sports curriculums, promote international goodwill through Polo competition, and above all, encourage development and sportsmanship through teaching young people the principles of the game of Polo.

City Harvest
City Harvest is New York City’s largest food rescue organization, helping to feed the nearly 1.2 million New Yorkers who are struggling to put meals on their tables. They rescue 66 million pounds of food this year and deliver it, free of charge, to hundreds of food pantries, soup kitchens and other community partners across the five boroughs.

St Jude Hospital
The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay.

The Bowery Mission
The Bowery Mission has served homeless and hungry New Yorkers since 1879, when its neighborhood came to define the term “skid row.” Our children’s programs, called Mont Lawn City Camp & Mont Lawn Summer Camp, serve at-risk youth and began in 1894 by giving the children of recent immigrants the chance to escape the tenements in the summer.Today, The Bowery Mission is a results-oriented organization that is recognized as one of New York City’s most effective.

New York Cares
New York City has always been the epicenter of the American Dream. It’s a place of hope and opportunity. A place millions have traveled to in search of a better life. Unfortunately, the American Dream feels unattainable for many vulnerable New Yorkers, who are facing such obstacles as limited education, poor nutrition, low literacy, unemployment, and lack of basic needs. With 45% of New Yorkers living near or below the poverty line, the complexity and scale of problems can seem overwhelming. Many people want to step up and help their neighbors, but they feel that the issues are just too big. “There’s nothing I can do to have a real impact.”

Toys for Tots
The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

Brightpoint Health
Organizations we support include Brightpoint Health, a treatment center located in the state of NY that focuses on substance abuse and mental health services. Offering residential long-term treatment, the facility serves people from all backgrounds, including those going through the criminal justice system.


The Jillian Fund
The mission of the Jillian Fund is to provide support that enables families to unite with their children, who are in need of intensive medical treatment and life threatening medical care.


The Family Center
The Family Center is a social services organization that provides various services for children whose parents are suffering from illnesses that are life-threatening.


IONA Lower School Father’s Club
The Father’s Club consists of fathers of students at Iona Preparatory School in New Rochelle. The club has events and activities scheduled throughout the year.


DePaul Catholic Baseball Team
We are also supporters of the Spartans, the baseball team of DePaul Catholic High School in Wayne, New Jersey.


Sage USA
Another organization we support is Sage USA, a national advocacy and social service organization that is dedicated to LGBT senior citizens.


Susan G. Komen for the Cure
We are supporters of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the largest non-profit organization focusing on breast cancer. Komen is dedicated to saving lives and ending breast cancer.


Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
JDRF focuses on Type 1 diabetes research with goal of eventually wiping out Type 1 diabetes. The majority of the organization’s expenditures support research and research-related educational services.


Hackensack University Medical Center
Hackensack UMC is a 900-bed non-profit teaching and research hospital just seven miles outside New York City. Providing hospital services for northern New Jersey and the New York City metropolitan area, it is the fourth largest hospital in the nation based on admissions.


The American Cancer Society
The American Cancer Society is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to eliminating cancer. ACS supports research, early detection, treatment, education and patient services.


Eithne and Paddy Fitzpatrick Memorial Fund
The Eithne and Paddy Memorial Fund works to raise funds in support of a diverse group of worthy organizations that focus on a range crucial initiatives including expanding educational opportunities, helping families and children affected by serious illnesses, delivering social services to the elderly and fostering peace and understanding between people in troubled areas, in Ireland.


Rising Ground
Rising Ground, a leading nonprofit human services organization, provides children, adults, and families in the greater New York City area, with the resources and skills needed to help them rise above adversity and positively direct their lives.

 


 

Alzheimer Association
The Alzheimer’s Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Our mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
