SmartChoice takes pride in our community. Because we love the areas we serve and care about the residents, we actively support several different organizations throughout the area. SmartChoice and its employees enjoy giving back.
The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
Gulf Coast JFCS helps the most vulnerable individuals throughout our community, from babies to seniors, find safety, comfort, and a path toward a fulfilling life. To help as many people as comprehensively as possible through complex life challenges, Gulf Coast JFCS programs span a broad human service spectrum. The outcome – lives uplifted!

Florida Holocaust Museum
The Florida Holocaust Museum preserves the history of the Holocaust, honors the millions who were murdered, and educates people of all backgrounds about the dignity and worth of human life to help prevent future genocides.
It does this through exhibitions, artifacts, survivor stories, and educational programs that teach the lessons of the Holocaust and its relevance today.
Amplify Women Tampa Bay
Amplify Women Tampa Bay is an organization committed to empowering women entrepreneurs and business leaders in the Tampa Bay area.
Through transformative events like the annual Amplify Summit, the organization provides a platform for women to connect, collaborate, and elevate their impact in various industries.
Hope Villages of America
Hope Villages of America, formerly known as RCS Pinellas, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families in Pinellas County, Florida, who are facing challenges related to hunger, homelessness, domestic violence, or basic needs.
With over 50 years of service, their mission focuses on providing hope and restoring dignity through innovative programs and services.
SPCA Tampa Bay
SPCA Tampa Bay is a nonprofit animal welfare organization based in Largo, Florida, with a mission to provide compassionate care for animals in need.
The shelter has been serving the Tampa Bay area for over 80 years, caring for around 8,000 animals annually, including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, livestock, and injured wildlife. They offer a range of services such as adoption, pet surrender, wildlife assistance, and pet euthanasia.
Children’s Network of Hillsborough County
The Children’s Network of Hillsborough (CNHC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable children and families in Hillsborough County, Florida.
As the lead community-based care agency for the county, CNHC oversees foster care, adoption services, case management, and abuse prevention programs. Their services aim to reduce the number of children placed in foster care through initiatives like the Intensive Family Services Team (IFST), which helps strengthen families and prevent child removal.

Alpha House of Pinellas County, INC
The mission of ALPHA House of Pinellas County is to prevent the cycle of homelessness and child abuse by providing a safe residence and supportive services to homeless pregnant women and babies.
ALPHA empowers women with the job skills, education, parenting skills, positive self-esteem and spiritual foundation necessary to obtain permanent housing, successfully raise their children, and contribute to the community as self-sustaining mothers.
CASA – Stand Up To Silence
CASA is the official 501c3 domestic violence center based in Pinellas County, FL.
They operate the area’s 24-hour hotline and emergency shelter; non-residential programs, such as support groups, economic empowerment and legal advocacy; Child Protective Investigative Team support; community and corporate training; and the CASA Peacemakers anti-bullying and healthy relationship school curriculum.
JCC Rockland
JCC Rockland is dedicated to the enrichment and continuity of Jewish life and to the preservation and celebration of our rich heritage.
The center shall strengthen individual awareness and connection to the Jewish community, the state of Israel, and the community at large through recreational, physical, educational, social, and cultural programs.
Create Hope Foundation
Create Hope helps children in need on a local level.
They help the smaller organizations whose main focus is helping children in need. They also will help on an as need basis if they hear of a specific family dealing with a child or children who have a special need that the family cannot afford to provide.
SBH – Annual Action
For over forty years, SBH has stood as a pillar of charity and volunteerism in the community.
Although the organization itself has grown exponentially since its inception in May 1974, its core values of selflessness and responsibility have never wavered. For decades, SBH has been dedicated to caring of those less fortunate. It is the shoulder to cry on, the lifeline, the answer to your calls for help.
Friends of Saint Dominic’s
Friends of Saint Dominic’s is an affiliated fundraising organization for Saint Dominic’s Family Services.
Our mission is to solicit funds that promote and insure the continued growth, expansion, improvement, and development of the Agency that has been empowering people, preserving families, and inspiring hope since 1878.
